Vocabulary
- 1) Fracking: The process of injecting liquid at high pressure into subterranean rocks, boreholes, etc. so as to force open existing fissures and extract oil or gas.
- 2) Climate change: A change in global or regional climate patterns or in particular a change apparent from the mid to late 20th century onwards and attributed largely to the increased levels of atmospheric carbon dioxide made by the use of fossil fuels and other substances.
- 3) Overfishing: Overfishing is a decline of the fish population.
- 4)Global warming: Global warming is the unusually rapid increase in Earth's average surface temperature over the past century primarily due to the greenhouse gases released as people burn fossil fuels.
